Originally studying Psychology at Cardiff University, Ian developed his childhood passion for technology while completing his degree. Passionate about gaming, he built and sold PCs and helped friends and family with technical issues, all while working in the NHS. This passion evolved into a business that has grown through reputation, now providing IT support to customers throughout Europe and North America.

Ian’s vision from the beginning has been to deliver brilliant IT support to customers, focusing on the highest level of customer service and only ever recommending services that benefit the customer and their business.

When not immersed in IT, you can find Ian developing his badminton skills or engaging in various DIY projects. Recently, he took on the ambitious task of converting a VW campervan from scratch, preparing it for family adventures around Devon and Cornwall. He also enjoys landscaping his garden, creating an outdoor space for relaxation and enjoyment.

Troy’s journey began at just 16, diving into the world of Aerospace Engineering. His curiosity and passion for technology quickly led him to a Data Science apprenticeship, where he sharpened his programming skills and discovered the power of data.

Eager for new experiences, Troy moved to South Korea to become an assistant lecturer in Computer Science. Teaching allowed him to share his enthusiasm for technology and connect with aspiring tech enthusiasts.

After his time in South Korea, Troy found his true calling in the Managed IT and Cyber Security field. He loves combining his tech know-how with a genuine desire to help businesses protect their digital spaces. Along the way, he’s earned some notable achievements and built a reputation as someone you can trust with your cyber safety.

Troy believes in staying ahead of the game, always learning about the latest in cybersecurity to ensure he can provide the best protection. He’s all about taking a proactive approach to keep threats at bay.

When he’s not immersed in tech, you’ll find Troy on the golf course, indulging in his passion for the sport. He’s also dedicated to helping small business owners secure their networks, bringing a personal touch to every project he works on.

Originally from South Africa, Hillary embarked on a life-changing journey at 18, moving solo to pursue an exciting career in hospitality. With a diploma in Hotel Management, they spent 14 years working in various establishments, mastering not only guest services but also diving into administration, finance, compliance, audits, and marketing.

Their career took a different turn when they moved first into the charity sector and then into Care Homes, focusing on HR, recruitment, and compliance. This new path led to an exciting opportunity in 2019 when they joined Ian at Tomlinson Solutions. Initially balancing this role with another job, they quickly immersed themselves in the dynamic world of IT. As the business grew, Hillary committed fully to the role of Office Manager, gaining knowledge and expertise in an industry that was once new to them.

Outside of work, Hillary is passionate about sports, actively playing netball with the Mavericks, a team proudly sponsored by Tomlinson Solutions, and can also be found on the cricket field.

Developing an early interest in technology through a love of computer games and digital arts, Luke has cultivated an expanding skill set, which he hopes to bolster during an apprenticeship at Tomlinson Solutions.

Originally studying graphic design, Luke felt drawn to a career path that aligned more closely with his natural interest in IT and computer science. Already knowledgeable in these subjects due to personal projects and hobbies, he easily started online IT courses, which eventually led to an apprenticeship at Tomlinson Solutions. Luke has embraced this opportunity with enthusiasm and is already making great progress in his role, with plans to expand his abilities alongside the growth of Tomlinson Solutions.

Growing up in a computer-illiterate household, Luke has become the go-to technical problem solver for friends and family. He understands the frustration of problematic technology and enjoys the challenge of diagnosing issues and the satisfaction of resolving them.

Although no longer pursuing graphic design professionally, Luke continues to explore artistic hobbies in his spare time, alongside music, gaming with friends, and watching 10-hour-long video essays on YouTube.
